Life happenings! (Part 1)

So much has happened since I last blogged! Let's see..where do I begin? I got married to my sweetheart in Hawaii! We bought a beautiful home and I started Graduate School to get my Masters in Social Work. Even though we have been extremely busy, I still managed to squeeze in some time to make some cakes and cupcakes. Baking and decorating is one of the few things I am able to do and not think about anything else. Here is a look at the past year! I will have to do this post in several segments since I have all of my photos scattered. I will try my best to keep everything in order!

I did not make this cake! Chris and I ordered this GORGEOUS wedding cake from The Bean Counter in Shrewsbury, MA. It is a yellow cake with coconut frosting and pineapple filling. It has the Hawaiin pink Plumeria flowers on it! Beautiful and Delicious! Two thumbs way, way up!

Cow Cake for Brooke's 2nd Birthday!

Lala Loospy Cake for Grace's Birthday!

Inside look at my apple butter spice cupcake with cinnamon frosting and candied pecan on top...soooo yummy!

Vanilla cupcake with peppermint frosting

...and really awesome candy cane decorations!

This summer, my nieces on my husband's side of the family came up to decorate cupcakes with me for the day!

They did a great job!!

...Sort of like a tiramisu cake... The made a simple coffee syrup to coat the inside of the vanilla cake. The coffee frosting and dark chocolate Lindt balls really made all of the flavors come together!

Reese's Cake

With a guitar :)
